A photo shoot is usually a couple hours and all the attention is on you. Being comfortable with your photographer in the specific environment is the most important thing when wanting your images to come out great the first time. The level of comfort is established before the shoot by talking to the photographer one-on-one discussing possible locations, poses, outfits, etc.
